TRAVEL ADVICE

Our practice nurses are available by appointment to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. Please telephone reception to book an appointment. 

Please remember we do not have last minute appointments - You should attend at least 8 weeks before departure

Our nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.

Superdrug’s Travel Clinic in Manchester is based on Piccadilly, right in the centre of the city. If you need travel vaccinations in Manchester, all you need to do is give them a call and they will book you an appointment.

Their highly trained nurses will talk to you about your trip along with any existing medical conditions that you might have to determine your immunisation requirements. Once you have had the vaccinations that you need, they will also talk to you about any other travel health risks that you need to consider as part of your trip, for example, malaria.

Travel Vaccination Prices

Travel advice is covered by the NHS; however some vaccinations and prescriptions are only available privately. Payment for non-NHS services must be made at the first travel appointment.
